Congrats on your baby, mama! Day 7 is usually when the cord starts to separate or has just fallen off, super exciting milestone! Just keep it clean and dry, and avoid submerging it in water until it fully detaches, kaya go with sponge baths lang for now. A few of us learned the hard way na once it falls off, it's totally normal to see a tiny bit of oozing, pero kung may pus or foul smell, that's when you call your pedia right away. Enjoy these early days, they go by so fast!
