Is the medicine prescribed by the doctor? If yes, then should be fine as long as they are following the dosage. Your daughter should be fine as long as the dosage is meant for infant. Meanwhile, monitor her for allergy or abnormality.
I will not self medicate my children without consult the doctor even though I know some medicines can be purchased over the counter, just want to be safe.
