Honestly, iba-iba ang hospitals dito sa Pilipinas with their pricing, yung isa sa circle ko ng mommy friends, ang hospital nila ay may separate charge lang for the induction meds and monitoring, hindi buong double, pero depende talaga sa hospital at kung gaano katagal ang induction. Mas safe talaga to ask your OB directly kung magkano ang dagdag dahil maraming factors, kung need mo ng epidural, IV drips, longer stay, at honestly, mas mura pa rin usually ang induced normal kumpara sa CS, plus walang surgery recovery hassle. Pero I get your worry about ECS kasi talaga namang may risk yan, kaya worth it talaga na i-clarify with your hospital kung ano exactly ang additional costs bago ka mag-decide between induction or scheduled CS.
