Newborn white stuff on vagina

Hello, A couple of hours we were in the process of chaging the diaper of our newborn daughter. However my wife opened the vagina of our daughter and saw white stuff at the sides/under the lips. Is this something that needs to be removed ? How should we handle this?

my daughter has it also. and it is so hard to clean. i cannot remove it with water and cotton. Im afraid it would hurt her wiping it off. is it okay to let it stand there or should it be removed completely? i've been worrying about it. she's already 2 months old.

It should be cleaned. You can use cotton and clean water to wipe it out.
