Anxiety in a toddler

My child has recently started childcare. On her 2nd and 3rd day, she had watery stool and passed motion twice a day at her normal hours. I noticed whenever she is in unfamiliar places without us, she would cry and pass watery stool. Just wondering if it can be separation anxiety that makes her tummy upset?
