My friend pierced her baby's ears and the child has a mild case of eczema but nothing adverse has happened so far. I read that people with eczema should avoid wearing earrings with nickel as those will irritate the skin. Other than that, it should be ok. I, myself, have mild eczema that acts up whenever I'm stressed and I've pierced ears since I was a baby.
