So from what I've heard from other mums, babies born around 36 weeks on NIPPV usually stay around 3 to 3½ weeks total, kasi ang lungs nila ay malapit na talaga sa full development, marami sa kanila ay okay na after that. Your baby at 2.4 kg is actually a decent weight na for 36 weeks, which is good! One mom I know had a similar setup and her baby got discharged earlier than expected, so there's hope. The NIPPV is doing its job to help the lungs mature, and doctors usually won't discharge hanggang stable na talaga siya off it or on minimal support lang.
Best thing is just stay in touch with your baby's neonatologist or respiratory therapist, they'll give you the real timeline based sa progress, kasi every baby's journey is slightly different, especially with BPD considerations. Sending strength, mama!
