Eh don't worry, this is quite normal at 17 days, a lot of us noticed our babies straining and turning red like that, especially when they're learning how to poop, haha! Since baby is exclusively breastfed, it's also common for them to poop less frequently after the first week or two (some babies go every few days and it's still okay), but the straining can be a bit worrying to watch lor. Best to mention it to your paediatrician or midwife just to make sure baby's latch is good and there's no tongue tie or other issues, they can put your mind at ease right away, and if baby is sleeping well and not fussy, that's a really good sign!
