Red spots on my baby face
My baby daughter is 7 months and her red spots still not yet faded despite me trying a few products for her face. Has anyone encountered that? She has this since she was 2 mths old.
Wah, 5 months already and still there, definitely time to stop waiting and see a PD or dermatologist, because at this age it should have resolved on its own. Someone in my mum group mentioned their baby had similar persistent red spots and the doctor said to stop applying products altogether, as some creams can actually make it worse or slow the skin from clearing. Most of these spots in young babies are hormone-related and not an infection or allergy, so more products is not always the answer. That said, since yours has lasted this long, please do get a proper diagnosis from your doctor rather than guessing, better to know exactly what it is before trying anything else.
