Congrats on your first pregnancy! At 17 weeks, your bump should start showing soon lah, most first-time mums see something between week 16-20, tapi depends on your body shape and how much bloating you have. A few of my mum friends said theirs didn't really pop until week 20-22, so don't worry if it's taking a bit longer; every pregnancy is different!
