Wa'alaikumassalam sis! Ohhh pantang period ni memang penting, especially first time mom like you. A few of us dari mummy group memang invest dalam proper set, the heated blanket, traditional herbs untuk minum (like confinement soup), loose comfy clothes yang mudah nak lepas untuk breastfeeding, and belly wrap kalau rasa perlu support. Barang-barang lain yang helpful: plenty of pads (lotsa bleeding la), extra pillows untuk support, maybe some ready-to-heat traditional warming patches if you're into that, and honestly the most important adalah supportive partner or helper to do laundry and cook sebab you really should rest! One of my friends swear by having everything ready before labour so you're not rushing around during confinement, simple meals planned, clothes laid out, all that. Take care of yourself during this time lah, it's your recovery period!
