SSS MATERNITY BENEFITS
hi, ask qu lang po if makukuha parin ba maternity benefits ko. Inapply ng company ko Mat 1 then nag resign ako bago manganak, pwede ko parin ba ituloy ang Mat 2 kahit unemployed na ako? Maraming salamat po sa sasagot.
Hi mama! From what I know, once you resign bago manganak, it gets tricky with Mat 2 kasi usually kailangan ka pa ring may employer or ongoing contribution sa SSS, a few of us mums had the same concern and most ended up losing the second benefit dahil unemployed na sila, pero honestly this is such a specific situation na kailangan mo talaga i-verify directly sa SSS mismo, either mag-visit ka sa branch or tawag lang, para sure na hindi ka mawawalan ng benefits na deserve mo! Hope it works out for you, marami pang options sometimes na hindi agad obvious.
