They're actually different, transabdominal is the regular one where they move the probe over your belly, while pelvic ultrasound usually refers to the transvaginal one where they insert a small probe inside to get clearer, closer images of your reproductive organs. The transvaginal one is super common during early pregnancy kasi nakikita nila agad ang baby, pero some OBs do both depending on what they need to check. Ask your doctor kung alin ang kailangan mo, but either way it's all normal and safe!
