Mucus plug or discharge??
Hi. Ask ko lang kung mucus plug na ba to or discharge lang? 37 weeks preggy and EDD ko is August 26, in IE po ako kahapon 1-2cm na daw sabi ng OB ko then nung umihi ako kanina may nakapa akong ganyan. Sign na ba to na malapit na ko maglabor?

Mahirap sabihin based lang sa description, pero usually mucus plug is thicker, stringy, at may slight color (yellowish or pinkish), parang gel consistency talaga, while regular discharge is more watery o creamy lang. Since your OB already checked you kahapon at nakita na 1-2cm dilation, chances are malapit na talaga, pero best to text or call your OB ulit about what you saw para sure, lalo na at 37 weeks ka na! A few of us moms noticed discharge increases a lot before labor din, so it's not always the mucus plug right away, either way, good sign na may changes na, so stay alert na lang at ready your hospital bag if hindi pa. Keep your OB in the loop about any changes, yah?
