From what I know, kahit resigned ka na, you can apply for MatBenefit as long ang SSS contributions mo ay updated, don't need to convert to Voluntary agad if the contributions are still good, pero better check with SSS directly or through their online portal para sure, kasi bawat case is different talaga! A few of us had to go through SSS even just to clarify, so don't hesitate to call them or visit a branch para confident ka sa requirements mo.
