SSS Maternity Benefit

Hi, Ask ko lang if merong same case saken dito employed since Oct.2021 sa current employer ko. Ang EDD ko is 13Dec22. Ang monthly SSS contribution ko since Oct.2021 is PHP3,260. My question, buo ko ba makukuha yung 70k? Sa eldest ko kasi 4yrs ako nun sa employer ko at nakuha ko ng buo ung 70k 3months bago ako nanganak. Salamat sa makakasagot!

Hi! Based sa experience ko and ng iba kong mom friends, since you've been contributing regularly since Oct 2021, you should be eligible na for the maternity benefit, pero yung exact amount na makukuha mo depends talaga sa SSS kung complete na ang 120 days of contributions requirement. I'd suggest mag-inquire ka directly sa SSS or check your online account para makita mo kung qualified ka na for the full 70k, especially since your case is a bit different from your eldest (timing and contribution period).
