Hello! Majority of the products available in the market are safe to use while pregnant – this includes cleansers, moisturizers and even sunscreens. Products that are not recommended for use when pregnant are prescription products – such as: hydroquinone or retinoids. In general, I always tell my pregnant patients to avoid using anything na hindi naman kailangan. Non-emergency skin issues that do not really affect your quality of life should be addressed after giving birth na.
