Hi doc. Sobrang kati po ng left nipple ko since I got pregnant until now. Im 19 weeks pregnant. Napansin ko medyo nagbabalat ung areola xka namumula ung ilalim parang stretchmarks pero un lang po tapos sobrang kati. Is it normal po? What cream should i put po? Thanks doc!

Hello! Eczematous lesions are very common in pregnant women. I suggest applying mild emollients (eg. cetaphil, ceradan or cetaphil) and mild steroid creams -- prescription usually ito -- to your lesions. You may also take antihistamines pero consult your OBGYNE muna kung ano ang pwede sayo. Also other suggestions: 1. Use mild, soap-free cleansers 2. Limit bathing to 5-10 minutes 3. Use cold to warm (not hot) water 4. minimize scrubbing 5. apply emollients after (creams with minimal ingredients and if possible, fragrance-free) 6. avoid using harsh detergents and fabric softeners when washing clothes
