73. Hi Doc! Magandang gabi po. My baby is 7mos old and pure breastfeed. Normal lang po ba minsan kulay green yung poop nya? By the way nag start na din po kami ng solid foods/ BLW when she turned 6 mos. Pwede na po ba sya mag vitamins to boost her immune system? Or is my breastmilk enough for her age. Last po doc next month she will have her flu vaccine is it necessary po to get the shots or better we stay at home nlang bc due to coronavirus. Thank you so much Doc. 😊

Since you started weaning normal lang na maggreen na poop nya. Vitamin is okay but it's a SUPPLEMENT meaning add on. If you're sure the baby is getting enough vitamins and minerals from BLW and breastfeeding then no need to give vitamins. Re vaccines, hindi normal na panahon ang kinakaharap natin ngayon. Ang official stand ng PIDSP (Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines) ay huwag i-delay ang schedule ng bakuna. Pero naiintindihan ko na mahirap din gawin un dahil sa COVID19 at enhanced community quarantine. Baka wala din masyadong pedia na nagcclinic kasi we need to flatten that curve. Pwede nyong icheck sa health center / ospital / clinic malapit sa inyo kung nagbabakuna pa sila. Pero, in my personal opinion, kung papanatilihin natin healthy at walang sakit ang mga tao sa bahay, at hindi din naman kayo exposed sa ibang sakit, hindi din magkakasakit si baby. Pwedeng habulin ang mga delayed vaccines after the quarantine (except sa Rotavirus na hanggang 8mos lang).
