17. Hi Atty. is it legal for companies to reduce basic salaries of employees since the company is in financial crisis due to effect of Covid in the business? Is there a legal form required? Thanks.

Hi Atty. thanks for the response. Some companies make take measures to reduce cost to survive financially. I heard some companies reduce salaries of staff by certain percentage but requires a written consent from them. Staff may just agree to it since this is better than potential job loss.
