Glucose test

Hi hi first time mom here too ! Just took it last Friday . They will take your blood when you reach. Then they will pass you the sweet drink ,to finish within 5 mins then they will ask you to go out walk for 2 hours . Go back clinic after 2 hours to draw blood again. Then it’s done The sweet drink level is like seasons ice lemon tea that kind of sweet, to me . Finish it within 5 mins helps tho, try not to stop too many times then it’s fine. Hope it works for you and all is well ! ☺️

I just took it 2 weeks back. It wasn’t as bad as I expected to be as well. I got the lime flavoured as they only had that. Didn’t taste so bad as well.. I took small breaks within the 5 mins and finished it. Felt slightly nauseous and had to go poop 😂 You’ll do great! 💪 hydrate lots the day before and don’t eat too much sugary stuff the day before.

I didn't feel nauseous at all. other than the glucose drink was just too sweet for me, the taste was actually ok. I was asked to finish the whole bottle within 5 mins. It's actually more than enough time. I would suggest that in between big gulps, rest before you drink again. hope it helps! 💪🏻

I just took! it's actually not as bad tasting as other said. tasted like fanta orange 😂 I finished it quite fast and didn't feel nauseous

You’ll be ok! Just take breaks in between the gulps. And try not to move about after so that you won’t feel like puking. Good luck!

Hi. I only felt nauseous but didn’t vomit. Take note that if u vomit, u will have to come back again to do the glucose test.
