Motivation and most importantly don’t stress. You can always mix feed, while you buid up your supply. If you are not blessed with good supply (like me), you might need to put in more effort. Pump/latch regularly, drink more water and make sure your boobs are cleared. And moving back to supply, if you’re low supply, don’t get dishearten by the amount. Bm works on supply and demand, the more you demand, the more the supply. Don’t drag feeds/pumps. Take sunflower lecithin to thin out your milk. If pumping, make sure to get the correct flange insert sizes. Wrong size not only causes pain to your nipples, it also affects your yield. Goodluck and don’t forget to drink more water (especially during confinement since that’s during the early stage of bf)! 😊

You can either get the nipple ruler from shopee or get the Lactation consultant to measure for you during your hospital stay. At 25 weeks, it is still too early. I took legendairy milk’s sunflower lecithin together with 3-in-1 bundle. As long as you pump regularly, eat well, rest well, drink more water/soups, your supply will go up. Many tends to give up when they see their little to pathetic supply and just take it as they don’t have milk. That is not true. I struggled as a low supply mum pumping only 10-35ml per 40mins session. I pressed on (with the motivation to lose weight), managed to build a stash and even donated my milk. Don’t stress too much. As long as you’re not skiving, you’ll eventually be able to provide enough for your baby, give it some time. For now, just enjoy your pregnancy. 😊😊

The right mindset and always don’t give up! Mixed feeding for the first month is ok, always offer the br*ast first. If face pain, consider getting nipple guard. Supportive partner and family members also help. Sometimes they are quick to say, nvm just give formula. But be firm, and engage your partner to support your goals. You can do it mummy :)

Hello, don’t stress on it. I was stressed due to baby hospitalised for jaundice and supply stopped. I would just like you to follow whatever works. If there’s supply, then good. If not, it’s no problem either. All the best mama.
