Help with pink eye

Can anyone recommend any solution to pink eye? My toddler got it in ifc and from viral conjunctivitis to bacteria conjunctivitis that led to fever, bad runny nose and cough. The eye discharge from yellow to orangey... and now both eyes are swollen and teary. Conducted PD twice but the eyedrop doesn't help. Was given 7 days mc and my employer is unhappy with it....
