I am only at 17 weeks and I can’t concentrate when people speak to me. I literally stone 😅

Anyone felt the same? I can’t really function when people talk to me be it at home or work . And driving back after work, I am always stoning .. it’s so hard to stay focus 🙃

Oh you are so not alone in this! Pregnancy brain is actually super common, something like 80% of pregnant women go through it, so the stoning feeling is genuinely your body doing its thing, not you being "blur" for no reason. The concentration dip is real, especially around this trimester when fatigue and hormones are both hitting you at the same time. My friend who works in an office said she honestly just had to tell her colleagues upfront that she might need things repeated, and most people were understanding once she explained. Honestly though, I won't pretend it fully goes away, some mums say they just slowly adjust and find workarounds, but for others it stays tough right through, so don't be too hard on yourself if it lingers. Just please be extra careful with the driving, maybe give yourself a few minutes to sit before you pull out of the carpark if you are feeling particularly out of it that day, your safety matters more than rushing home!
