Normal ultrasound but high risk blood test.

Hi! Anyone ever experience a normal ultrasound but high risk blood test during screening test? I'm 35. My ultrasound is normal but my blood test came out as 1:252. Worried and not sure what to do.

I went through something similar when I was pregnant with my second, and I know how scary that waiting period feels. A 1:252 result with a normal ultrasound is definitely something to discuss in detail with your gynae or a maternal fetal medicine specialist, as they can walk you through your options like NIPT or amniocentesis to get a clearer picture. Many mums have been in this situation and gone on to have perfectly healthy babies, so try not to spiral too much while you wait for that next appointment. Please do go back to your doctor soon so you can get proper guidance and peace of mind, because you really do not have to figure this out alone.
