Dr liu shuling
Anybody taking dr liu shuling (from kkh) and have experience with her for natural birth? Heard she is good and friendly, but most reviews i see are from mummies that are on c-sect. Thks!!!
From what I have heard, Dr Liu Shuling is known for being very thorough and reassuring during consultations, which makes sense why so many mums feel comfortable with her, though most of the experiences people talk about do seem to be C-sect deliveries rather than natural birth, so it is a bit harder to get a clear picture on that side. My friend delivered at KKH under a different doctor but mentioned that Dr Liu came highly recommended in their antenatal class specifically for her calm and patient approach. The trade-off is that because she handles a broader reproductive medicine portfolio at KKH, her availability and focus during labour might vary, so it is worth having a direct conversation with her about your natural birth preferences and what her support looks like during the actual delivery. Overall the feedback leans positive, gentle manner, good stitching, takes her time, but I would go in with your birth plan clearly written out and ask her directly how she manages natural labour cases so there are no surprises.
