Aw sis, 39 weeks na! I totally get the waiting game, it's so stressful A few of us tried walking, specifically the stairs or longer walks around the house, and honestly some swear it helped kahit parang walang instant effect; one of my mum friends kept bouncing on a birthing ball while watching TV and felt cramping after a few days, though walang guarantee talaga. The thing is, sometimes cervix lang just closes pa even weeks before labor, it's completely normal, and your OB didn't prescribe anything kasi hindi pa talaga ready ang body mo, which is actually a good sign na healthy yung pregnancy. Real labor signs are usually regular contractions (every 5-10 mins, getting closer), bloody show or mucus plug, water breaking, or lower back pain paired with cramping, kung nangyari man one of these plus cramps na talaga nag-hurt, that's when you head to the hospital. Sa dami ng times this happens, some babies just decide later and walang problema, though worth double-checking with your OB kung may concerns ka sa exact due date or if you're really worried about going overdue, they'll know best kung kelan talaga ang safest timing for you.
