Ay, totally normal yan! Maraming moms dito nag-experience na walang period pa kahit ilang months na postpartum, it's called lactation amenorrhea, at nangyayari kasi ang frequent breastfeeding ay nag-suppress ng hormones na kelangan for ovulation. So basically, ang body mo ay focused sa milk production pa lang, hindi pa sa fertility cycle. Ang pattern though ay different sa bawat mama, some friends ko bumalik agad ng period nila around 3-4 months, pero may iba na medyo mahigit a year bago bumalik. Kung exclusive breastfeeding ka, mas matagal pa usually. It's actually one of the perks na walang alala muna sa period hassle, pero di rin fully reliable as birth control kaya dapat pa rin may backup plan if you're not planning another baby soon. Since delayed period pa rin yan technically, worth checking with your OB lang to make sure everything's on track, just to rule out anything else. But most likely, it's just the breastfeeding doing its thing.
