Honestly, at 2 years 3 months, kalau dia boleh cakap dan boleh gabung 2-3 patah perkataan sikit-sikit, tu dah quite normal range lah, every kid progress differently, so jangan worry sangat yet! But since dia last checkup was over a year ago, maybe bagus you bring him to the clinic just to have his speech and development assessed properly by the doctor, especially if you're noticing gaps in what he's saying, better to check and get peace of mind or early intervention if needed, kan?
