For self-employed members, it's the 30 to 45-day window. Ang steps are straightforward: you'll need the baby's birth certificate, then file through your employer (kung employed) or directly sa SSS kung self-employed. After approval, you get a reference code, and then you can ask for proof of remittance to confirm everything's processed. One of my mum friends swears na ang key talaga is making sure lahat ng documents complete on day one, birth cert, marriage cert if needed, proof of membership, kasi yung delays usually nangyayari dahil sa missing docs.
