No Fetal Pole or Yolk Sac at 6 weeks :(

#advicepleace Hi everyone, Im abit concerned… have had a history of 1 miscarriage last year and we tried again and I tested positive few weeks back. LMP 16 Feb, so we went to poly to get referral. Poly referred us to KKH early , on 28th March , at my 6 weeks point. From there it was back and forth 28th March - couldn’t find gestational sac at all, HCG 7200 30th March - couldn’t find gestational sac, even did format ultrasound same results - HCG 8600 (only 17% rise) 1 April - could find gestational sac but no yolk or fetal pole. Docs didn’t even want to confirm that it’s a a gestational sac. HCG 12600 (46% rise) Don’t know what to think… my HCG doesn’t seem to be rising properly. ectopic ruled out. I’ve got cramps but no bleeding. Just so confused. Any one has experienced something similar to this? Worried sick :(

Did u test ur HCG level again or wait another few days and seek 2nd opinion?

I’ve been in your position. At 6 wk no pole and yolk sac. At 8 wks I returned for another scan - doctor confirmed it’s a missed miscarriage. You did nothing wrong. I wish you all the healing. It’s a difficult path to parenthood for some of us but I hope you find peace in knowing all your little bun felt in this life is love and warmth. There’s a miscarriage thread on Reddit that was helpful for me to overcome. When you’re ready try again. You can always take your time. *big hugs.
