Ganito ang situation, kung 9 weeks na siya based sa LMP mo pero ang ultrasound shows 6 weeks with no heartbeat, it's possible na may dating issue lang (miscalculation ng cycle), so mas safe to get a repeat scan after 1-2 weeks para makita if there's any development or if confirmation na ito ang case. Pero honestly, ang dami ng stories I hear about this, some babies just catch up on the second scan, pero iba talaga ang outcome. Either way, don't stress yourself too much waiting for that second opinion kasi stress doesn't help the situation anyway (learned that the hard way, haha). The important thing is your doctor should push for repeat TVS and, if needed, testing, genetic, hormonal, or blood clotting factors on your end, kasi it helps you understand what happened and plan next steps, especially if you want to try again. My neighbour went through something similar and her OB was really thorough with follow-ups at testing, which helped her peace of mind. Definitely have a serious talk with your OB about all this and what the options are moving forward (monitoring, medication, or procedure).
