Gassy baby

My 9 week old girl (bottle feed ebm) gets cranky and wails murder when she wants to be burped/is gassy. This can happen while feeding or her waking from nap. Could happen a few times in a feed. We would have to stop feeding and either stand up while patting/burping her or quickly flip her to a sitting position to burp. Has anyone encountered this as well? Thank you very much.
