Mucus Plug?
40 weeks and 4 days pregnant po. No signs of labor pa din pero open cervic na daw po ng 1 CM. Just curious if mucus plug ba ‘to. Any thoughts?
Ay, 40 weeks at 4 days na kayo! Hindi ako sure kung mucus plug na yan without seeing it, but mucus plug usually comes out as a thicker, stringy thing na may slight color (clear, pinkish, or brownish), ang consistency parang snot or jelly, kaya nakikita mo talaga usually, hindi lang in regular discharge na lang. Since you're already 1 cm dilated at this point, best to confirm with your OB kung ano talaga ang nakita mo and if labor is really starting soon, because they can check you properly and tell you what to expect na next steps, especially since you're already past your due date. Balang kaagad na ang delivery mo, mama!
