1st week of preschool

My 20 months daughter just started preschool, and she barely eats her lunch and tea break food. And in the early evening, she cries out for me so teacher suggested for me to pick her up early at least for the first week. It worries me that she’s not eating much in school. And what make it worst is I can’t join in her first few days of school cause of the virus.And teacher does not give me any mid day updates of her. How was your toddler doing in school when they just started？
