G6PD Deficiency

My first born is also a G6PD baby, nung nareceive namin yung result nagpaconfirmatory kami and talagang may G6PD sya. Hindi naman po yan magiging hindrance sa paglaki nya, pwede rin po nyang kainin yung mga bawal pero in moderation. Sabi ng pedia ng anak ko noon, hereditary din daw ang G6PD. Sa family namin, tatlo silang magpipinsan na may G6PD. After ng confirmatory test po, bibigyan kayo ng list para sa mga bawal na pagkain at gamot. May mga cases din na grabe yung G6PD nila, tulad ng pamangkin ko bawal sa kanya ang chocolate at nuts. Basta kapag po immunization/ check up ni baby lagi lang po ninyong sabihin kay pedia na may G6PD sya. Kaya maigi din po na private ang pedia nya.
