Ay, 17 weeks is actually perfect timing na! Most doctors can tell the gender accurately by 18-20 weeks through ultrasound, pero some skilled sonographers can see it na kahit 16-17 weeks pa lang kung malinaw ang angle ng baby. A few of us from my mummy group found out between 16-18 weeks, kaya definitely possible na sa iyo, pero it really depends on kung how cooperative ang baby mo sa viewing and kung gaano kagaling ang technician. I'd say book your ultrasound na and ask your OB kung sure na sila at that week, or wait a bit longer pa for the most reliable result, either way, very exciting na!
