Hey mama, congrats sa first pregnancy! Para sa maternity benefits, kailangan mo ng at least 3 months of SSS contributions before your expected delivery date, kaya since 2 months ka na, check your contributions first with SSS to make sure you qualify, some of us nag-inquire online or sa branch mismo para sure. File mo siya ideally before your 7th month ng pregnancy, at yung voluntary member status, swerte mo kasi pwede mo i-process both at the same time sa SSS mismo, pero definitely consult with them directly or visit their website para sa exact requirements and documents needed kasi nagbabago ang rules minsan, better safe than sorry!
