I sent my elder daughter at 3yo, but my husband brought her out for adventures prior to that, and she also had social interaction with other toddlers at church on Sundays (this was long ago).
For my younger daughter (almost 1yo), we’ll probably send at 3yo too, especially with the current pandemic.
