Sweating is actually a common thing among children. My daughter when a baby used to sweat a lot. She still does now. I think it is fine if a child sweats too much if you do not notice any other thing like; excessive thirst, urination or weight loss in the kid. An overactive thyroid can also make one sweat a lot but then again there are other symptoms associated with it. Also, over dressing the child can also make him sweat a lot. But even if all is well with the child I think that an evaluation by the paediatrician is a good idea. In winters if you put AC or cooler for the kid, he may feel good at the moment as he would be sweating but that may make him catch cold. I suggest, you should once get him evaluated by his paediatrician for sure. He will be able to guide you in a proper way as why is it all happening and what you can do to make him at ease.

It is natural for some babies to sweat more than others, but since you mentioned ur baby needs an AC even in the winter months I'll suggest you check this with a doctor. Excessive sweating could point at a thyroid condition and you baby's doctor will be the best guide.
