It is not uncommon for women to experience changes in their menstrual cycle, especially during the postpartum period. After giving birth, it may take some time for your hormones to regulate, which can cause irregular periods or prolonged bleeding. It's possible that your heavy and prolonged menstruation is due to your body adjusting after childbirth. However, if it continues for more than 15 days or if you're experiencing very heavy bleeding, it's a good idea to consult your doctor to rule out any underlying health issues, such as hormonal imbalances or other conditions.
Hey! I can totally understand how worrying this must be for you. After giving birth, your body can take time to adjust, and sometimes menstruation can be irregular, especially when you're still postpartum. It’s common for cycles to vary, but if it’s lasting this long and is heavy, it’s a good idea to check in with your OB just to make sure everything’s okay. I’ve had irregular cycles after giving birth too, so you’re not alone! Hopefully, it’ll normalize soon. You’re doing great, mama!
Hey there! After childbirth, it’s not uncommon for your periods to be unpredictable, and it might take time for your body to get back into a rhythm. That said, having a heavy period for 15 days is a bit longer than usual. It’s probably a good idea to talk to your doctor, just to rule out any issues like hormonal imbalance or other factors. But don't worry too much—you're not alone in experiencing postpartum changes. Hopefully, things will regulate soon! 🌸
Your body is going through a lot of changes as it recovers, and hormones can be out of balance. However, a period that lasts 15 days and is heavy isn’t typical, so it’s a good idea to see your doctor. They can rule out anything like hormonal imbalances or other issues. Just to be safe, they might want to do a check-up, especially since your periods were usually only a week long. Stay in touch with your OB!
