14-month-old biting other kids
14 month old biting classmates. The teachers love him but recently he's been biting his classmates and we tried "talking" to him but nothing seems to be working. What am I suppose to do?

At 14 months they really cannot express frustration yet, so biting is honestly their way of communicating, totally normal but still needs to be addressed firmly. Keep a teether handy and the moment he goes to bite, redirect him straight to that and say clearly "teeth are not for biting, bite this instead." There is actually a children's book called Teeth Are Not For Biting that a friend of mine used with her son around the same age, she said it helped a lot because they read it together every night until he started to get it. Consistency is key, so make sure the teachers at school are using the exact same response as you at home, otherwise the message gets mixed and it takes much longer to stick.
