Hi mummy 😊 yes this actually can be quite a normal phase at around 1 year old. A lot of babies at this stage are still learning textures and chewing, so they will take a bite, realise the texture is unfamiliar, then spit it out and sometimes also just playing with food or testing reactions 😅
