Pregnancy with Thyroid Disorder

11 years ago. August 2012 ay nadiagnose ako ng Thyroid Cancer (15years old only). So nag-undergo ako ng Thyroidectomy (Removal ng Thyroid) that time resulting to HYPOTHYROIDISM (low thyroid hormones).Currently taking levothyroxine.Now, August 2023, Im pregnant. I have that fear na baka mapano si baby pero nangingibabaw po ang FAITH. May mga mommies din po ba rito na nakakarelate? How was your pregnancy? #thyroid #pregnancy #pregnancyandthyroid

Congrats sa pregnancy, mama! I totally understand your worry kasi it's your baby, pero honestly the good news is maraming moms din na may hypothyroidism at nag-deliver ng healthy babies, ang importante lang is consistent TSH monitoring with your OB and endocrinologist kaya please coordinate with them, especially ngayon na pregnant ka na may mas mataas na hormone requirements. One of my mum friends was on levothyroxine din during her pregnancies at regular testing lang talaga ang naging routine niya, and her kids are thriving now, your faith plus good medical support will get you through this, mama.
