Belching (Reflux problem)

Hello Mummies. My 1-month old has a reflux issue. What’s the best way to help her belch / burp? Thanks #firstbaby #1stTimeDad #1stTimeDaddy #babygirl #burping

Feed her in a more upright sitting position. Try to burp her twice or thrice during feeds, not just at the end. Put more pressure when patting baby on her back for burping (over the shoulder position will get more and faster burps than the cradling chin position) cz this puts pressure on her tummy to force out the air. Can also try putting baby on ur arms with her legs dangling and u pat her back. Don't lay baby down straight away aft every feed. Continue holding her in an upright position for 15min at least, sometimes my baby will burp himself like this.

Baby poop frequently

Hello mamas, My baby is two weeks old and evertime I change diapers notice a little bit of poop. Also after I breastfeed most of the time he doesn’t burp though I tried different ways. Not sure if it’s related.Just wondering if anybody else experience this and if this is normal. #breastfedbabies #babypoop #burping

Its normal that after BF baby at a newborn stage, baby will poop. However it is highly to recommend burping after feeding to avoid gassy tummy and causing discomfort.

Help regarding Burping

Hi mommies! My baby stopped burping ever since 3mo and not fussing even no burp and stay comfortable on bed thats why I never carry her up or tried burping her thurout. May I know if it's OK or dangerous/unhealthy? Kindly help a ftm here hehe! #burping

I stopped burping my LO around 2M because it can take up to 30 mins and she still won’t burp. I let her self burp. What I did was after feeding, let her be in sitting or semi lay down position for awhile, then if she’s awake, put her in tummy time position and she burps almost immediately. She’s currently 32m now and all is well.
