Honestly, a few of us mums have used doulas dito sa Manila and sobrang helpful talaga, especially for first-timers like you, one of my friends swears by having someone kahit during labor pa lang para sa emotional support, hindi lang physical. I'd suggest asking sa your OB for recommendations kasi marami silang naka-refer na, or check out local mom groups here sa theAsianparent kasi super active ang community dito with referrals and reviews from actual mums na nag-try na. The birthing classes matter rin, so find someone na aligned sa your birthing philosophy, whether natural, hospital birth, or whatever plan mo!
