When do we know if baby is ready for solids? My son just turned 6 months but yet to crawl or sit

I let my baby practiced sitting in her high chair for some time. Once she’s able to sit straight and for a decent amount of time, I start giving her solid (oatmeal).

    No. We started the practice when she’s about 5 months old. From 5 mins a time, slowly became an hour of sitting.
