What's the most expensive toy you've ever bought for your kids? My wife and I were debating on whether or not to spend a certain amount, and we wanted to see some other parents' insight. We don't want to foster any spoiled behavior, after all.

I think if it's an educational toy like Melissa & Doug, it's okay to spend --- although I'd still wait for online sales for those so I'd get them at around Php 500 as opposed to Php 1000. I once bought a Sophie the Giraffe teether for my baby and it was really not a wise spend. My daughter didn't take to it so it's just sitting there among her toys despite it being quite expensive (Php 1000)
