What do you do if your toddler tells you that he doesn't want to take a bath?

My son sometimes doesn't want to take a bath because he just wants to play. The only time he'll agree to take a bath is when he's done, as in sawa na sa kalalaro. Or sometimes tinatamad talaga. If we need to go out, I really force him to take a bath immediately.
