farfalla freezer back side

Hi, is any of you using farfalla freezer for breastmilk? is the back exposed/opened like this?

I feel any kind of chest freezer is fine.. so long their function is to freeze the food well. I used chest freezer (upright deep freezer) to freeze my milk before too. Those milk keep inside it can be safely l stored for 6 to 12months.
